Welcome to the Okigbo Digital Academy website. These are the terms that apply when you use our website or enroll in any Okigbo Digital Academy program.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or enrolling in any Okigbo Digital Academy program, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our website or services.
Eligibility
Our programs are open to anyone able to form a legally binding contract. If you're enrolling on behalf of someone under 18, you confirm you have the authority and consent required to do so.
Your Account & Information
When you enroll or create an account with us, you're responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login details secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
Program Enrollment & Payment
Enrollment is confirmed once payment, or the agreed installment, is received. Pricing, payment plans, and refund terms are outlined at enrollment and in our Refund Policy. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for future cohorts, changes won't affect students already enrolled. Where payment is made via bank transfer or in a currency different from the one listed, you are responsible for any currency conversion differences or transfer fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
Corporate & Group Training
If you engage us for Corporate & Group Training on behalf of a business, school, community, or organization, that engagement may be governed by an additional signed agreement or proposal covering scope, pricing, and delivery specific to your organization. Where a conflict exists between these Terms of Service and a signed corporate agreement, the corporate agreement will govern for that engagement.
Affiliate Program
If you participate in our Affiliate Program, your participation is governed by our separate Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions in addition to these Terms of Service. Where the two conflict on matters specific to affiliate activity, the Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions will govern.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website and training materials for lawful, personal educational purposes only. You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly share our course materials, recordings, or curriculum without our written permission.
Third-Party Platforms
Our training covers third-party platforms and tools, including but not limited to GoHighLevel, Zapier, Make.com, Zoho, and others. We do not own, operate, or control these platforms. We are not responsible for changes to their pricing, features, availability, or terms of service, and we cannot guarantee that any specific tool will remain available or unchanged for the duration of your training or afterward.
Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, branding, and this website belong to Okigbo Digital Academy. Enrolling in a program gives you a personal license to use the materials for your own learning, not ownership of them.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
While we train you on in-demand, job-ready skills and support you with CV, LinkedIn, and Upwork setup, we cannot guarantee employment or income outcomes. Your results depend on your own effort, application, and market conditions.
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Our website and programs are provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Okigbo Digital Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of our services will not exceed the amount you paid for the program giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Okigbo Digital Academy, its founder, staff, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these terms, your misuse of our services, or your provision of false or misleading information.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or remove access to our programs or website for anyone who violates these terms, including sharing course materials without permission or abusive conduct toward staff or fellow students.
Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and Okigbo Digital Academy, we encourage you to contact us directly first so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If a resolution can't be reached informally, the dispute will be handled in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as set out in the Governing Law section below.
Time Limit to File Claims
Any claim you may have arising from these terms or your use of our services must be brought within one year after the claim arises. After that time, the claim is permanently barred.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for any delay or failure to deliver a live session or any part of our services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to power outages, internet or network failures, natural disasters, or government action. Where possible, affected sessions will be rescheduled or made available via recording.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
Waiver
If we don't enforce a provision of these terms on one occasion, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later. A single instance of us not acting on a violation isn't a waiver of that provision or any other.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and (where applicable) our Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions, make up the entire agreement between you and Okigbo Digital Academy regarding your use of our website and services, and supersede any earlier understanding or agreement on the same subject.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or programs after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
